Bring your wrists together. The two housings meet and lock. That's the whole gesture — one motion, definitive, quiet.

We spent a lot of time on that click. Not on the mechanism behind it (though that matters too), but on what it communicates. A click that's too loose feels uncertain. Too stiff and it breaks the moment. We wanted the kind of click that feels like a decision landing — the sound and resistance of something that means what it's doing.

Once it's closed, it holds. The webbing straps sit against the wrist without pressure points, distributing evenly across the joint rather than concentrating at an edge. Comfort in restraint isn't a contradiction. It's the whole point. If you're uncomfortable in the first ten minutes, the scene becomes about that instead of everything else you wanted it to be about.

The Housing

The body of Hush is 3D printed — tight tolerances, clean geometry, nothing decorative that isn't also structural. The profile is intentional: low enough to sit close to the wrist, substantial enough to feel real. When you look down at your hands, it should look like something that was designed. Because it was.

The color is yours. Every Hush is made to order, which means the piece in the photo doesn't have to be the piece on your wrists. We print to your choice. The form stays the same. The palette is the variable.

The Release

Hush uses a built-in ice release. Fill the chamber, freeze it, strap in, click, wait. The ice decides when the scene ends — not you, not a timer you can second-guess. That window of not-deciding is the one Hush is built around.

Release time varies by environment. Always test your setup before a full scene. That's not a disclaimer. It's how this works, and knowing it is part of using it well.
